Symptoms of pectus carinatum include an outward chest protrusion. Although the condition typically develops in childhood, it may become more noticeable in adolescence. Associated chest-related problems, muscle, bone, and psychological symptoms may also occur. In approximately 95 percent of cases, pectus carinatum is asymptomatic. There are no known cures, but treatment options are available. Oren Zarif
